Long review so I'll cut and paste...
As someone who has lived in the area for the past ten years, I'd like to share some things about this area. Before you get suckered into buying property in Hardy County, you should be aware of the corruption in this county. The Mayor of Wardensville, runs a local laundromat, and never maintains the machines. If you don't like the crap machines and complain, you will be told to go somewhere else. A cash-flowing tourist trap, just like the whole town is. I even have one to top that. The Hardy County Commissioner is the biggest slum lord in Hardy County, plus, a pastor at a local church. He owns 2 trailer parks and I wouldn't even rent these to the homeless or the illegals. They built special housing for the illegals, tho. The chicken plant needs workers and the poor are too scared to speak up, due to retaliation. I've been through the eviction process in this county. I move here to build my small business. Took me 6 years of nickel and diming to get it built. Now that my pizza bus is almost ready, I've decided to head over to VA and spread the corruption of this county before tourist even come here. All of these established businesses are the losers and grifters who stayed and are part of the corruption. These fake christians turned a blind eye to it all, for decades. I get blocked on the local government pages for pointing things out over the years. Now that the grift is over and folk are going to be held accountable, folk are selling because they were part of the grift. Don't believe me?? Look up the established small businesses in this county and look at who grifted off the taxpayer with those PPP loans, yet stay silent on the dependent folk around here, who support these small businesses during the off tourist season. This state is broke and the federal funds are all but gone. I've mingled with the rich all thru this state, I live with the poor, by choice. I made it out of this crap hole, fake christian community. This is why I left. You cannot make money in WV unless you become one of them. You'll go broke and end up like one of them. The ambitious left this state as soon as they could. It shows... I'm speaking out for the poor folk, the ones who are scared to speak up. There's a lot in this area, dependent on the system designed to keep them dependent and begging for crumbs of a crumb. It's us vs. them. I saw it clearer than ever, in the 15 years of roaming this state, looking for spots to set up my pizza bus. I'd rather promote against coming here. I made a Facebook page to spread awareness, too. I'm going to force change in this corrupt county. These leaders cannot lead us into the new world coming. They are the cause of the old system collapsing... Once the corridor is complete to VA, Wardensville will become a ghost town. I saw it during the aftermath of I-81, just over the mountain. I paid attention. It's time y'all start... The mayor is already planning the exit by changing her properties to LLC's... Notice the handwriting.... The whole county is corrupt like this. Just do your research. I got out, not many who get suckered into moving here will... These fake christian realtors won't tell you this... RESEARCH!!!
Everywhere I go, I see "Buy Local" or "Support Your Local Small Business". The community supports these small businesses. Why are these businesses so silent on the corruption in the community they serve? Is it because they market towards those traveling through (tourists)? Is it because they are part of the corruption? Do these small business owners move here or did they grow up here? Are the slum lord properties passed down each generation? Who supports these small businesses during the off-tourist season? If you have to grift off the taxpayer to pay your employees, you deserve to go bankrupt. All I see are people out for themselves, when preach about teamwork, helping one another, or some shit. We cannot have the same leaders and fake community members lead us into the new world we're transitioning to. These motherfuckers are the reason West Virginia is morally broke, federally dependent, stupid, and docile. Until you wake up and see things for what they are, things are only going to get worse. I'm not going to research everything, I'm giving some public information, you decide what rabbit holes you want to wander. If you want to add to these, comments are always welcome. We have to force change, folk. I'm using my personal web page to spread awareness. I don't see ANY other small business speaking out. Why? The bank owns their business. They don't care about you. Just the money you spend with them. They take from the taxpayer, up the prices, then wonder why business slowed down. All I see are a bunch of fake folk pretending everything is alright. It isn't..... Things have to change...
